The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 21, edition that TD Cowen analyst Tim James is keeping his "buy" call on Magellan Aerospace intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. James boosted his share target by a loonie to $19. Analysts on average target the shares at $15. Mr. James says in a note: "Revenue/EBITDA growth of 8 per cent/53 per cent and 290 basis points of gross margin expansion [are] encouraging. While Q4 results were better than expected, tariff-related uncertainty is expected to limit short-term share price upside. We assume strong return to target is H2/25 weighted." The Globe's David Berman suggested on May 23 that the Magellan Aerospace stock may be an attractive purchase in spite of, or actually because of, its well-known quality-control issues which have pounded its shares. The shares were then going for $7.91.
