ORIGINAL: Minaurum Discovers Blind Silver Vein Grading 669 g/t AgEq Over 2.05 Metres, Highlighting Potential for Additional Blind Veins of Scale; Resource Expansion Drilling Returns 367 g/t AgEq Over 2.65 Metres at Europa Sur at the Alamos Silver Project

2026-10-22 08:46 ET - News Release

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - October 22, 2026) - Minaurum Silver Inc. (TSXV: MGG) (OTCQX: MMRGF) ("Minaurum" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the discovery of the high-grade Africa vein zone, a previously unrecognized "blind" vein, highlighting the potential for additional blind veins of significant scale across the Alamos Silver Project ("Alamos") in Sonora, Mexico. Drilling returned 669 g/t AgEq over 2.05 metres and demonstrated the potential for high-grade mineralization beyond the known surface-exposed vein.

The Company also reports multiple high-grade results from resource-expansion drilling at the Europa Sur, Quintera, San Jose, and Promontorio Sur vein zones, including 367 g/t AgEq over 2.65 metres at Europa Sur and 462 g/t AgEq over 1.50 metres at Quintera. These results form part of Minaurum's ongoing Phase II, 50,000-metre resource-expansion drilling program at Alamos.

Highlights include:

"The discovery of the high-grade, blind Africa vein represents an exciting new opportunity for resource expansion ahead of our upcoming resource estimate update," stated Darrell Rader, President and CEO. "The Africa vein was discovered by drilling the Europa Sur vein zone, and continuing into its footwall. This discovery highlights the potential for additional blind veins of scale across the Project, including robust, high-grade parallel vein zones similar to the one hosting the Africa vein."

NEW African Vein Zone

The newly discovered Africa vein, intersected in holes AL26-257, -268, and -270, lies about 50 m in the footwall (west of) the Europa Sur vein. Company geologists noted significant alteration in the footwall and allowed hole AL26-257 to continue, thus discovering the Africa vein. Hole AL26-257 cut 1.30 m of 592 g/t AgEq (498 g/t Ag, 0.05 g/t Au, 0.35% Cu, 0.78% Pb, 1.85% Zn) and hole AL26-268 reported 2.05 m of 669 g/t AgEq (270 g/t Ag, 0.87 g/t Au, 1.55% Cu, 2.80% Pb, 5.62% Zn) (Table 1, Figures 1 and 2).

The Africa vein is open along strike with strong potential demonstrated by Minaurum hole AL19-018, which intersected 5.35m of 156 g/t AgEq (88 g/t Ag, 0.07 g/t Au, 0.13% Cu, 0.51% Pb, 1.71% Zn) about 400 m north of the AL26-257 intersection, also in the footwall of Europa Sur (see new release dated August 22, 2019).

Table 1. Assay highlights for Africa vein. True widths are based on current interpretation of mineralized structures. Weight-averaged silver-equivalent grades (AgEq g/t) are based on the October 1, 2025 Long-term CIBC Global Mining Group Analyst Consensus Commodity Price Forecast: Ag $29.73/tr oz, Au $2,646/tr oz, Cu $4.34/lb, Pb $0.92/lb, Zn $1.21/lb. Metallurgical recovery assumption: 88.3% for Ag, 88.5% for Au, 75.5% for Cu, 83% for Pb, 75% for Zn.

Europa - Europa Sur Vein Zones

Europa Sur, the southern extension of the Europa vein zone, is not included in the inferred initial resource (see news release dated January 28, 2026). Europa Sur continues to demonstrate continuity of mineralization and potential for resource expansion outside of the central Europa vein. Higher grades of gold and copper continue to be intersected in the Europa Sur zone (see news releases dated March 31, May 27, July 8, and September 23, 2026).

Hole AL26-261 intersected significant high-grade mineralization across 0.60 m of 1,140 g/t AgEq (712 g/t Ag, 3.41 g/t Au, 0.39% Cu, 1.70% Pb, 2.40% Zn) in the Europa Sur zone about 100 m south of the AL26-255 interval of 0.95 m of 256 g/t AgEq (see Minaurum News Release dated September 23, 2026). Hole AL26-266 intersected 2.65 m of 367 g/t AgEq (226 g/t Ag, 0.10 g/t Au, 0.84% Cu, 0.94% Pb, 1.76% Zn) roughly 160 m to the north of and 150 m above the AL26-255 intersection. Hole AL26-268 cut 1.90 m of 416 g/t AgEq (114 g/t Ag, 2.27 g/t Au, 0.49% Cu, 0.82% Pb, and 1.74% Zn) in an 80-m step out to the south and above the AL26-255 intercept (Table 2, Figures 3 and 4).

Data review and verification: Stephen R. Maynard, Vice President of Exploration of Minaurum and a Qualified Person (QP) as defined by National Instrument 43-101, reviewed and verified the assay data, and has approved the disclosure in this news release. Verification was done by visual inspection of core samples and comparison to assay results. Assay results have not been checked by re-analysis. No factors were identified that could materially affect the accuracy or reliability of the data presented in this news release.

Analytical Procedures and Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Preparation and assaying of drilling samples from Minaurum's Alamos project are done with strict adherence to a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) protocol. Core samples are sawed in half and then bagged in a secure facility near the site and then shipped either by a licensed courier by Company personnel to ALS Minerals' preparation facility in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. ALS prepares the samples, crushing them to 70% less than 2mm, splitting off 250g, and pulverizing the split to more than 85% passing 75 microns. The resulting sample pulps are prepared in Hermosillo and then shipped to Vancouver for chemical analysis by ALS Minerals. In Vancouver, the pulps are analyzed for gold by fire assay and ICP/AES on a 30-gram charge. In addition, analyses are done for silver, copper, lead, and zinc using 4-acid digestion and ICP analysis. Samples with silver values greater than 100 g/t; and copper, lead, or zinc values greater than 10,000 ppm (1%) are re-analyzed using 4-acid digestion and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS).

Quality-control (QC) samples are inserted in the sample stream every 20 samples on average, and thus represent 5% of the total samples. QC samples include standards, blanks, and duplicate samples. Standards are pulps that have been prepared by a third-party laboratory; they have gold, silver, and base-metal values that are established by an extensive analytical process in which several commercial labs (including ALS Minerals) participate. Standards test the calibration of the analytical equipment. Blanks are rock material known from prior sampling to contain less than 0.005 ppm gold; they test the sample preparation procedure for cross-sample contamination. In the case of duplicates, the sample interval is cut in half and then quartered. The first quarter is the original sample, the second becomes the duplicate. Duplicate samples provide a test of the reproducibility of assays in the same drilled interval. When final assays are received, QC sample results are inspected for deviation from accepted values. To date, QC sample analytical results have fallen in acceptable ranges on the Alamos project.
