SUN LIFE ANNOUNCES ELECTION OF DIRECTORS

The 11 nominees listed in Sun Life Financial Inc.'s management information circular dated March 15, 2024, were elected as directors of the company. The detailed results of the vote held yesterday at its annual meeting of common shareholders are set out in the attached table.

The voting results on all matters voted at the annual meeting of common shareholders will be available on the Sun Life website and through Canadian and United States securities regulators at SEDAR+ and the SEC website, respectively.
