WESTERN COPPER AND GOLD ANNOUNCES VOTING RESULTS FROM ANNUAL SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING

Western Copper and Gold Corp. has released the voting results from the company's annual general and special meeting (AGSM) held on June 27, 2024.

A total of 101,875,249 common shares were represented at the AGM, representing 51.92 per cent of the votes attached to all outstanding common shares as at the record date.

Shareholders voted in favour of setting the number of directors at seven and elected all directors, as shown in the attached table.

Shareholders also approved: (i) the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditor of the company and authorized the directors to set their remuneration, (ii) unallocated stock options under the company's stock option plan, (iii) unallocated rights under the company's deferred share unit plan, (iv) unallocated rights under the company's restricted share unit plan.
