CLEARWATER, Fla. -- (Business Wire)

Water On Demand (WODI), a subsidiary of OriginClear, Inc. (OTC Other: OCLN), announces that its Modular Water Systems™ (MWS) division has found market traction with its newly-launched EveraTREAT MINI product line, designed specifically for small wastewater treatment systems. The EveraTREAT MINI is standardized in 2,500 gallon per day (gpd) increments from 2,500 to 10,000 gpd, and competitively priced for sites primarily needing to treat domestic or municipal strength sewage such as housing developments, small commercial sites, hotels, RV campgrounds, mobile home parks and remote public institutions such as schools and governmental facilities. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has helped to accelerate adoption in Texas by pre-approving EveraTREAT MINI designs up to 5,000 gpd, with Modular Water Systems staff working on other jurisdictions. "We needed something small, discreet and very quick to install, with the smallest possible service needs," said Bryan Klepzig, Enviromaintenance CEO. "In this category, you need quick and simple, and the EveraTREAT MINI delivers! We look forward to facilitating several hundred such installations in the Greater Central Texas Region, from Waco to San Antonio."

In March, Enviromaintenance became an MWS regional partner (announcement).

"This is a category that Big Water can't even touch. Because we are nimble and our processes are standardized, we can step right into the demand," said Daniel Early, PE, chief engineer and general manager of MWS. "To my knowledge no one is able to field small systems as well as we can, and the market is definitely agreeing with us!"

The EveraTREAT MINI is an underground, single-tank Integrated Film Activated Sludge (IFAS) treatment system, which can show only access hatches and the control panel at ground level. The IFAS treatment design is considered both highly effective and extremely compact, with minimal maintenance requirements.

Customers also have the option to reuse their treated water to help fight water scarcity and reduce fast-rising water bills. If they plan to make that water drinkable, they can opt for add-ons to eliminate contaminants including “forever chemicals” to ensure high-quality drinking water. These contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, have become an increasingly significant issue, impacting the health and safety of our communities.

"This series of fully integrated equipment systems solves a lot of problems that routinely plague the decentralized wastewater treatment sector," added Early. "Specifying Engineers can now realize a level of product completeness that has been missing in the sub 10,000 gallon per day wastewater treatment equipment market — and by completeness, I'm referring to the EveraTREAT MINI's ability to deliver a single tank structure that unites a series of common sub-unit treatment processes all designed to work in unison to produce exceptional-quality treated water. The EveraTREAT MINI eliminates the need to purchase and install concrete or fiberglass tanks that require critical engineering and construction attention to achieve a proper final field installation."

"I was also intrigued to read about Tesla's UNBOXED manufacturing method, which brings separate sub-assemblies together into one finished product, which I have been pursuing myself for the past 20 years," commented Early. "What the end-user gets is a single tank delivery that is pre-plumbed and wired, making the final site installation relatively quick and easy."

Early continued, "Conventional treatment plants combine multiple Aerobic Treatment Units (ATUs) with a series of pre-cast concrete tanks. Managing these complicated multi-tank installations is a headache due to the complexity of the interconnected piping system, maintaining proper tank elevations, and making all the individual units work properly. This is all elegantly avoided with our single tank design.”

Finally, Early stated, "The EveraTREAT MINI system reflects tremendous value for the owner. As a fully engineered product, it eliminates expensive custom engineering costs. As a single tank design, it saves the installation contractor significant time and money. The use of structural thermoplastics ensures an anticipated life cycle of 100 years, which is two to four times longer than conventional concrete and steel tank systems."

"After several years of hard work, extensive product development, and continued R&D, I'm extremely proud of the accomplishments achieved by the Modular Water Systems Engineering and Manufacturing Team. The launch of the EveraTREAT MINI product line is a major milestone in the evolution of the Modular Water Systems Division as we begin scaling our manufacturing to meet customer demand for decentralized wastewater treatment packages," concludes Early.

About Water On Demand, Inc.

Once a government monopoly, the business of treating and reusing sewage water is going private. Local industries and communities are now treating-in-place, helping to reduce the burden on municipal systems and save on fast-rising water rates while also responding to the challenge of climate change. That’s good for business and good for sustainability. Now, the innovative fintech, Water On Demand™, is enabling clean water to become an investable asset, open to main street investors, with the potential for generational royalties. OriginClear has consolidated under Water On Demand, its Modular Water Systems, the downsized technology that businesses need for on-site water treatment and recycling, and Progressive Water Treatment, a 25-year veteran engineered solutions subsidiary based in McKinney, Texas, with its Water On Demand business. This combination adds technology and the ability to execute on larger and more prestigious installations.

On October 23, 2023, WODI entered into a Business Combination Agreement (the "BCA") with FRLA. The transaction represents a pro forma combined equity valuation of approximately $72 million, assuming no further redemptions of FRLA public shares by FRLA's public shareholders. The agreed upon acquisition valuation of WODI is $32 million, based upon a 3.2x multiple of its 2022 revenue.
