Ms. Linda Kwan reports

ADEX MINING ANNOUNCES ADJOURNMENT OF APPEAL BEFORE NEW BRUNSWICK ENERGY AND UTILITIES BOARD

Adex Minerals Corp., Adex Mining Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, through which Adex holds its interest in the Mount Pleasant mining project in New Brunswick, has agreed, jointly with the Mining Recorder, Resource and Development Branch of the New Brunswick Department of Natural Resources and Energy, to adjourn the appeal (as defined below) previously announced by Adex and originally scheduled to proceed before the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board (NBEUB) on Dec. 3, 2026, and Dec. 4, 2026. The formal hearing is now scheduled to take place on March 11, 2027, and March 12, 2027. The decision to adjourn the appeal was made jointly and by mutual consent with counsel for the Mining Recorder. The adjournment will allow the company to focus its efforts and internal resources on achieving a successful outcome to its continuing strategic review process through including identifying and executing a value-maximizing transaction for Adex in respect of the Mount Pleasant project.

As previously disclosed in its news releases dated July 29, 2026, and Sept. 10, 2026, Adex Minerals received correspondence dated July 13, 2026, from the Mining Recorder advising that the mineral claim 1505 (upon which the Mount Pleasant project is situated) had been cancelled by the Mining Recorder and placed in protected status due to failures by Adex Minerals to complete sufficient work program expenditures as required under Section 11(1) of the General Regulation -- Mining Act, N.B. Reg. 86-98. Adex Minerals appealed this decision on July 29, 2026. On Sept. 9, 2026, after an interim stay hearing conducted before the NBEUB on Aug. 31, 2026, Adex Minerals successfully obtained an interim stay of the Mining Recorder's cancellation of the mineral claim and the mineral claim was reinstated in the name of Adex Minerals pending a final determination of the appeal. This status remains in effect pending the newly rescheduled appeal hearing.

The adjournment does not reflect any concession on the part of the company, and the company remains confident in its position on, and is optimistic of a favourable result in, the hearing of the appeal. Adex Minerals continues to believe that the Mining Recorder failed to engage with Adex Minerals' good faith proposals to complete the necessary expenditures in a timely manner and acted unreasonably in imposing arbitrary deadlines after eschewing Adex Minerals' good faith efforts to comply. Adex's special committee of independent directors continues to work with its external advisors and remains fully engaged in pursuing potential transaction opportunities with interested parties in accordance with its continuing mandate previously described by the company.
