AFFINOR GROWERS ANNOUNCES ISSUANCE OF CANADIAN PATENT FOR VERTICAL GROWING TOWER TECHNOLOGY
Affinor Growers Inc. has been issued Canadian patent No. 3,015,154 for "Vertical Growing Tower for Automated Horticulture and Agriculture," further strengthening the company's intellectual property portfolio in controlled-environment agriculture.
The patent was granted and issued on April 14, 2026, based on an application filed on Aug. 22, 2018. The invention is attributed to Nicholas G. Brusatore, chief executive officer, and covers Affinor's vertical growing tower technology designed for automated horticulture and agriculture applications.
This newly issued patent supports Affinor's strategy of developing and protecting proprietary vertical farming systems that can improve production efficiency, optimize growing space and support scalable commercial cultivation.
