Altiplano Receives Notifications on Legal Proceedings in Chile
EDMONTON AB, September 1, 2026 - Altiplano Metals Inc. (TSXV: APN) (WKN: A2JNFG) ("Altiplano" or the "Company") provides information related to legal actions initiated against two of the Company's wholly owned Chilean subsidiaries, Andes Metals SpA and Altiplano Minerals SpA. The Company and the Company's other subsidiaries are not subject to these initiated proceedings.
Andes Metals SpA has received a bankruptcy notice from Andes Core Mining for claims of unpaid invoices totalling CLP$191,000,0000 (~CDN$284,000) for disputed mining contracting work. In addition, Altiplano Minerals Chile SpA has been presented a claim by Telecomunicaciones Robinson Alejandro Alvarez Vergara E.I.R.L. for CPL$70,000,00 (~CDN$104,000) for disputed electrical contracting services. In both situations, the initiation of the bankruptcy proceeding may be protested. Altiplano will contest these proceedings, which are expected to be presented to the Chilean courts this week.
The Company confirms that it intends to work with local stake holders and authorities to resolve the proceedings to prevent any further actions. The Company will provide an update expected later this week once more information is available following the court hearings
