ARGO RENEWS BRADFORD SMART ROUTING™ AGREEMENT THROUGH 2027

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury (BWG) has renewed its Smart Routing transit services agreement with Argo Corp. through Dec. 31, 2027.

This is the second renewal of Argo's agreement with the town since Smart Routing launched in Bradford in April, 2025. Following the town's first renewal earlier this year, the Province of Ontario awarded BWG $4,093,337 through the Ontario Transit Investment Fund to support the longer-term expansion of on-demand transit.

As recently reported, average daily transit ridership in Bradford has grown to more than three times the levels of the town's previous fixed-route transit system, while the town's cost per ride has declined by more than 50 per cent.

"Significant public funding is available around the world to expand public transit. Our rapidly deployable Smart Routing transit infrastructure is proving how municipalities can quickly improve access and economics while helping unlock that funding," said Praveen Arichandran, co-founder and chief executive officer of Argo. "In Bradford, ridership has more than tripled, cost per ride has fallen by more than half and the town has subsequently secured further funding to support the expansion of on-demand transit."

Since the BWG launch, Argo has continued the expansion of its Smart Routing network in Brampton and Caledon. The company's focus remains on expanding the network across Canada, the United States and internationally.
