BLACKLINE SAFETY ANNOUNCES VICE PRESIDENT APPOINTMENTS TO DRIVE CONTINUED EXPANSION AT SCALE

Blackline Safety Corp. has promoted three senior leaders as the company continues to expand and drive operational efficiency.

Andrea Lamond, PEng, has been promoted to vice-president, growth operations. Since 2016, Ms. Lamond has been a core member of the growth team, contributing to a 1,600-per-cent increase in customer revenue. In her new role, Ms. Lamond will continue to play a pivotal part in advancing Blackline's global growth strategy and driving efficiencies across the organization. Before Blackline, Ms. Lamond held engineering roles in the oil and gas sector at Ovintiv (formerly Encana).

Eric Palmiere has been promoted to vice-president, business IT and cybersecurity. He has been a key driver in the development of Blackline's business IT systems and programs since 2022. In his expanded role, Mr. Palmiere will lead corporate, IoT (Internet of Things) device and multicloud cybersecurity while ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory standards and safeguarding corporate and customer data. Prior to Blackline, Mr. Palmiere managed IT and cybersecurity for Spartan Delta Corp. and Bellatrix Exploration.

Julie Baron has been promoted to vice-president, marketing. Joining Blackline in 2021, Ms. Baron has shaped the company's brand and reinforced its leadership position in connected safety and gas detection. In her expanded role, Ms. Baron will continue to lead marketing efforts to increase brand impact, support customer retention and drive product demand. Prior to Blackline, Ms. Baron held senior marketing roles with Benevity, Smart Technologies and Emerson (formerly Zedi).
