Super Copper completes eight holes at Cordillera Cobre

2026-11-03 17:59 ET - News Release

Mr. Zachary Dymala-Dolesky reports

SUPER COPPER ADVANCES COPPER EXPLORATION PIPELINE WITH FIRST DRILL RESULTS PENDING

Super Copper Corp. is advancing a pipeline of copper exploration and technology milestones, led by the coming first assay results from its maiden drill program at Cordillera Cobre in Chile. Eight holes are complete, assays for the first four are undergoing quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) review, and a ninth hole designed to test deeper levels of the target is under way. At Castilla, the company is preparing its second copper project for first-ever drilling, targeting for the second quarter of 2027.

With a financed balance sheet and no debt, Super Copper expects its existing treasury to finance completion of the current Cordillera Cobre drill program, Castilla drill targeting, Cuprix development and additional exploration milestones under its current budget.

Corporate highlights:

  • First drill results approaching: ALS assay certificates for holes 1 to 4 at Cordillera Cobre have been received and are in QA/QC review. Four additional holes are complete, establishing a pipeline of further results.
  • Drilling a target within a broader corridor: The program is testing IP (induced polarization) chargeability anomalies and structures extending more than 800 metres along a northwestern strike, within a 3.5-kilometre magnetic anomaly linking El Alto and Calcite Hill.
  • A second opportunity for discovery at Castilla: Phase 2 geophysics is currently under way at the Castilla project. Follow-up work is expected to rank targets for maiden drilling in Q2 2027.
  • Copper-processing technology moving forward: Cuprix, being co-developed with MetaFlo Technologies, has reached bench-scale demonstration. Larger-scale testing is the next development step and the company is advancing.

"We are building Super Copper to give shareholders a succession of opportunities for discovery," said Zachary Dolesky, founder and chief executive officer of Super Copper. "At Cordillera Cobre, our first four holes are in assay review, four more are complete, and drilling continues at depth. Castilla gives us a second project with compelling targets that have never been tested by drilling. Our balance sheet allows us to carry out the current programs and make decisions from the results. The immediate priority is to deliver the first assays and establish where the next phase of exploration can have the greatest impact."

Cordillera Cobre advances toward first drill results

Super Copper's maiden diamond drill program at Cordillera Cobre is currently under way, with drilling on a 24-hour double shift. The project comprises 27 exploitation concessions approximately 70 kilometers northeast of Copiapo in Chile's Atacama region. The company has earned a 25-per-cent interest and has the right to earn up to 100 per cent under its joint venture agreement.

The program is testing the El Alto target, where hyperspectral satellite mapping, surface prospecting as well as induced polarization (IP) surveying and 3-D magnetization vector inversion modelling have identified features that warrant drilling. IP measures the electrical response (charge) of the subsurface rock formations with an introduced electrical current and can help locate suphfide-bearing rock; drilling is needed to determine what causes the response and whether it contains copper mineralization.

Highlights:

  • Holes 1 to 4: ALS assay certificates have been received. Results are being compiled and reviewed and are expected to be announced shortly in a separate news release, following completion of QA/QC.
  • Holes 5 to 8: Drilling is complete. The longest completed hole reached 593.2 metres. Results will follow as assays are received and reviewed.
  • Hole 9: Drilling is under way at a steeper angle than most earlier holes. The hole is planned to approximately 600 metres and is designed to test deeper levels of the target than any hole drilled to date.

The first assays will provide the initial analytical results from this maiden drill program, with additional holes expected to add further information as the campaign progresses. No drill assay results are disclosed in this corporate update.

Castilla prepares for drill targeting

Castilla offers Super Copper a second exploration opportunity in the Atacama Region on ground that has never been drilled. Surface grab samples have returned up to 53.8 grams per tonne gold and 17.7 per cent copper. Of the 95 grab samples reported on July 30, 2026, 22 returned more than 1.0 g/t gold. These selective samples identify areas for follow-up; they do not establish the average grade or extent of mineralization.

The company is currently completing its phase 2 geophysics program, which includes an IP survey to trace chargeability features across the property. Follow-up mapping and sampling are under way to rank targets for a first diamond drill program, targeted for Q2 2027. The company is testing an iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) exploration model; the presence of an IOCG deposit has not been established. Survey methods, interpretation and figures will be provided in the company's coming news release.

Cuprix adds copper technology development

Alongside exploration, Super Copper and MetaFlo Technologies are co-developing Cuprix at their joint laboratory. The biopolymer is being developed to help copper miners and processors recover more copper and return cleaner water for reuse, addressing both metal recovery and water management in processing.

Cuprix reached bench-scale demonstration in September, 2026. The next step is larger-scale testing to assess performance beyond the laboratory. Mineral discovery remains Super Copper's core business while Cuprix offers a separate opportunity to develop technology for the copper industry.

Treasury supports the next phase of work

As at Aug. 31, 2026, the company reported cash and cash equivalents of $5,411,710 and working capital of $5,631,868 in its unaudited interim financial statements. Based on its current budget, management expects the existing treasury to finance completion of the Cordillera Cobre drill program, Castilla drill targeting and the Cuprix program, with no additional financing expected to be required over the next 12 months. This financing position supports continued work while results are received and evaluated.

About Super Copper Corp.

Super Copper is a mining exploration company focused on acquiring, advancing and consolidating global copper assets from early discovery through late-stage development. The company is advancing its Cordillera Cobre and Castilla copper projects in the Atacama region of Chile, a region with established mining infrastructure and the operations of global majors. By operating a single, integrated technical team and a milestone-driven acquisition strategy, Super Copper aims to build a portfolio of scalable projects capable of supplying the world's accelerating demand for copper.

Sampling and technical disclosure

The Cordillera Cobre drill program is managed by Apex Geoscience Ltd. Drill core is logged and sampled on site. Samples are submitted to ALS in Copiapo, Chile, for preparation and are analyzed by four-acid digestion with ICP-MS finish (ME-MS61) and by fire assay for gold (Au-AA23), with overlimit analysis for samples that exceed the upper detection limit of the primary method. Certified reference materials, blanks and duplicates are inserted into the sample stream at a rate of approximately 20 per cent. No drill assay results are reported in this news release.

Grab sample type, analytical methods, laboratory and QA/QC for the Castilla rock samples are described in the company's July 30, 2026, news release. Grab samples are selective by nature, include vein and float material that may not be in place, and may not represent the average grade of mineralization. Geophysical interpretations are preliminary; IP chargeability and magnetic anomalies may have non-economic sources and do not establish the presence of economic mineralization. Their source can only be confirmed by drilling.
