Margaret Lake Diamonds Inc. announced on Sept. 10, 2024, that it will not be proceeding with its previously announced amalgamation agreement with Emerging Goldfields Resources Ltd., whereby Margaret Lake agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding shares of Emerging Goldfields pursuant to a reverse takeover.

The amalgamation agreement was initially announced July 12, 2023.

Effective at the market open, Thursday, March 13, 2025, the common shares of Margaret Lake will resume trading.
