EMPRESS ROYALTY ANNOUNCES GRANT OF RESTRICTED SHARE UNITS

Further to the appointment of Daniel Burns to Empress Royalty Corp.'s board of directors, the company has granted 250,000 restricted share units to Mr. Burns pursuant to the company's equity incentive plan.

The RSUs were granted at a deemed price of $1.09 per unit and will vest in equal instalments over a two-year period, with the first tranche vesting one year from the date of grant. Each vested RSU entitles the holder to receive one common share of the company.

The grant is subject to the terms and conditions of the company's equity incentive plan and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
