NEW ENERGY ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Further to the news release dated June 5, 2024, New Energy Metals Corp. has closed the non-brokered private placement of one million shares at 10 cents per share for gross proceeds of $100,000.

The company intends to use the proceeds from the offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes.

All securities issued will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period in accordance with applicable securities legislation.
