The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Jan. 5, edition that Raymond James analyst Steve Hansen, in response to "light" fourth quarter results, lowered his share target for EnWave to 70 cents from 85 cents, while maintaining a "market perform" ranking. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at 80 cents. Mr. Hansen says in a note: "While we continue to admire EnWave's long-term prospects, we are trimming our target price based upon another lacklustre quarter associated with lingering NutraDried pressures. While management outlined a relatively upbeat plan for 2023, we have elected to remain on the sidelines until tangible progress materializes." The Globe reported on Aug. 31, 2021, that Mr. Hansen had elevated EnWave to "outperform" from "market perform" following "standout" fiscal third quarter 2021 results. The shares were then going for 99 cents. The Globe reported on Sept. 28, 2021, that Mr. Hansen continued to rank EnWave "outperform." It was then trading at $1.15. The Globe reported on Aug. 31, 2022, that Mr. Hansen had downgraded EnWave to "market perform." It was then worth 56 cents.
