Mr. Tyrone Docherty reports
FIRST TELLURIUM SUBSIDIARY PYRODELTA ENERGY GAINS ADDITIONAL INDUSTRY SPOTLIGHT
First Tellurium Corp.'s majority-owned subsidiary, PyroDelta Energy Corp., has been featured in a new Metal Tech News article highlighting the importance of tellurium in technology and energy systems, with specific focus on PyroDelta's tellurium-based innovations.
The article, "Extracting Clean Energy from Copper Slime," published Aug. 24, 2026, can be viewed
on-line.
PyroDelta has developed tellurium-enhanced thermoelectric generators designed to convert waste heat from AI (artificial intelligence) data centres into clean electricity, helping reduce both energy consumption and cooling demands. While the article focuses on data centres, the technology has far broader applications across transportation, industrial processes, factories and other settings where significant waste heat is generated.
"We're pleased to see Metal Tech News spotlight how PyroDelta's tellurium-based thermoelectric technology can turn the massive waste heat from data centres into a practical source of clean power," said First Tellurium president and chief executive officer Tyrone Docherty.
