Glenstar completes seismic survey at Green Monste

2026-07-08 18:46 ET - News Release

Mr. David Ryan reports

GLENSTAR COMPLETES SHEAR-WAVE SEISMIC SURVEY AT GREEN MONSTER PROJECT

Further to the recent news release dated June 25, Glenstar Minerals Inc. has completed the Terean Shear-Wave Seismic Geophysical Survey at its geologically complex Green Monster project in Clarkcounty, Nevada.

The survey was completed and consisted of four shear-wave velocity structure cross sections that were collected along 2,400-foot-long arrays. This survey was designed to image cover thickness, depth to bedrock, key structural and lithologic features (faults and voids), and extended from the surface to a 600-foot cross-section depth. This Terean survey was undertaken in order to gain a more detailed understanding of the intricate and complicated geological structures that appear to be present on the property. The final interpretation of the collected data is being compiled and analyzed for the final report.

The Terean survey is a detailed geophysical survey that maps a number of critical factors pertaining to underground faults and structural controls on mineralization; including defining depth to competent rock, quantifying overburden, imaging paleochannels and alteration zones, as well as identifying weathered and fractured zones that could indicate the presence of large faults and their particular orientation.

Glenstar geologist Bob Marvin noted that: "The Terean survey is a powerful tool that will provide Glenstar with detailed information that will help determine what the next phase of drilling and exploration should be as we continue to advance the project. We do know that there is a definite complexity to the geologic structure, or structures, underlying the property and the results of this survey will allow us to gain a far better understanding of how these structures relate to the ore intercept in drill hole GMST-4."

Numerous polymetallic zones were encountered during the phase 2 program, which consisted of six holes drilled to depths from 500 feet to 585 feet encompassing approximately 3,320 feet of total drilling across three drill pads. These holes contained highly fractured rock with abundant clay alteration and brightly coloured orange and red oxide minerals and decalcification. Assay results confirmed that the area of interest is significantly mineralized and geologically complex; however, at this early stage of exploration the grades reported are less than expected while at the same time raising a number of interesting questions. As a result of this geological complexity, further geophysical work is required to address the data that is inconclusive and provide a clearer understanding of the type of structure and system contained within the property.

Project background and recent exploration work

The Green Monster property is comprised of 35 federal lode claims covering approximately 700 acres located in Clark county, Nevada, on the west-trending spur of the Spring Mountains and is approximately 40 miles southwest of Las Vegas. Until the recent drill programs conducted in May of 2025 and February of 2026, no drilling was ever conducted on the property. The company's previous identification of robust nickel-copper with anomalous cobalt from sampling work done in 2022 indicated that several targets were ideal for shallow RC (reverse circulation) drilling (see news releases dated May 28, 2025, and July 16, 2025).

Glenstar acquired the Green Monster property and conducted initial groundwork in 2022 that included reconnaissance geologic mapping, surface rock sampling, soil sampling and a drone magnetic survey. Channel sampling across the exposed back of a raise off the main shaft returned 1.18 metres of 3.77 per cent Cu (copper), 3.06 per cent Ni (nickel), 0.21 per cent Co (cobalt) and 6.83 per cent Zn (zinc). These values are well in excess of select dump samples from historical underground workings and represent in-place, vein style mineralization. Sampling of oxide- and sulphide-bearing boulders directly downhill of the patented workings has confirmed the presence of very high zinc (greater than 10 per cent) and silver (greater than 200 parts per million), as well as copper, uranium and lead. (Sampling results provided above were previously published in the Green Monster project NI 43-101 technical report dated June 20, 2023, Section 7.5.)
