HAMMOND MANUFACTURING COMPANY LIMITED ANNOUNCES FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE THIRD QUARTER ENDING SEPTEMBER 25, 2026
Hammond Manufacturing Company Ltd. has released financial results for the third quarter ended Sept. 25, 2026.
Hammond Manufacturing delivered record revenue and earnings in the third quarter of 2026, reflecting continued strength across North
American markets, a reduction in U.S. tariff-related costs compared with 2025 and a one-time refund of U.S. IEEPA
tariffs. While the evolving U.S. trade environment presents challenges, the company believes its pro-active
strategy to protect and strengthen U.S. business has enhanced its competitive position and provides confidence
in its ability to respond effectively to changing market conditions.
With a strong commitment to customer service and a pro-active approach, the company is expanding its
manufacturing base with an 85,000-square-foot facility expansion (announced March 13, 2026) in Palmerston,
Ont. This expansion is expected to be operational in second half 2027. In addition, the company's board of directors
has approved an additional $87-million capital investment plan to build an approximately 160,000-square-foot
industrial electrical enclosure manufacturing facility in Fergus, Ont., and modernize its facility in Guelph,
Ont. The new Fergus facility is expected to be operational in second half 2028, and the Guelph facility is expected
to complete upgrades by second half 2029. Together with the previously announced expansion in Palmerston, Ont.,
the company anticipates that these capital investments will create at least $200-million per year of incremental
revenue generating capacity once fully utilized.
Hammond Manufacturing supplies good products with superior service and competitive prices to global
customers. The company continues to build long-term security and growth for all its stakeholders and once
again wants to express appreciation for everyone's involvement in its success.
