INSPIRATION MINING REPORTS ASSAY RESULTS FROM MAIDEN DIAMOND
DRILL PROGRAM AT ROTTENSTONE NORTH GOLD-COPPER PROJECT
Inspiration Mining Corp. has released drill core assay results
from its maiden diamond drilling program on its 100-per-cent-owned Rottenstone Northwest gold-copper project in Northern Saskatchewan (see company news releases dated May 1,
2026, and July 7, 2026).
The drilling program comprised 608 metres in four holes drilled between May 12 and May 26,
2026. Three holes were completed to target depth. A fourth hole was abandoned in 38 metres of
overburden without reaching bedrock after helicopter support became unavailable. Ninety-four
core samples were submitted to PMC Labs of Maple Ridge, B.C. (an independent
analytical laboratory), for sample preparation and geochemical analysis.
All 94 core samples returned background values for copper, zinc, lead and silver, and all 92 samples
with a gold determination returned background gold. No interval meets a conventional reporting
cut-off, and the company is not reporting a mineral discovery. The full results, the geology
encountered and the company's interpretation are set out below.

price of gold and copper have been trending up, and we are optimistic this trend will continue."
Highlights:
- 608 metres drilled in four holes; three holes completed; one abandoned in overburden;
- 94 core samples analyzed, together with 11 quality control samples, an insertion rate of
10.5 per cent;
- Best gold result is 0.276 gram per tonne gold over 1.00 metre in hole RN26-001 from 22.30 metres,
within a broader 8.73-metre interval averaging 0.045 g/t Au from 16.63 metres;
- Best silver result is 3.65 g/t silver over 1.00 metre in hole RN26-001 from 107.39 metres;
- Base metals were uniformly background. The highest copper returned by any core sample
was 243 parts per million Cu (0.024 per cent Cu), and three ultramafic units in hole RN26-001 returned no
nickel or cobalt tenor, with nickel across the program peaking at 28.3 ppm Ni.
Assay results
Every interval returning gold above 0.025 g/t gold or silver above 1.0 g/t Ag is set out in the table.
These are anomalous values only. No interval in the table meets a cut-off grade that would support
the reporting of a significant intercept.
In the table, composites are length-weighted over contiguous sampled intervals with no internal
gaps. Values below detection are set at half the detection limit for weighting; where every sample
in a composite is below detection, the detection limit is shown. Detection limits are 0.015 g/t Au
and 0.50 g/t Ag. Intervals are downhole core lengths, and true widths are not known.
Base metals were uniformly background across the program, and no base metal interval is reported.
The highest base metal values returned by any single core sample were 243 ppm Cu (0.024 per cent Cu),
240 ppm zinc, 30.4 ppm lead and 28.3 ppm nickel, against a median copper of 21 ppm Cu. The complete
multielement data set for all 94 core samples, together with the quality control results, is available
from the company on request.
Geology
The three completed holes intersected a granodiorite-dominated gneiss package with intercalated
pelitic and psammopelitic gneiss, tonalite, and granodiorite, consistent with the amphibolite-facies
supracrustal and intrusive rocks mapped regionally in the La Ronge domain of the Trans-Hudson
orogen.
RN26-001 collared into intercalated pelitic gneiss and tonalite, and passed through a mafic to
gabbroic unit between 61.5 and 94.7 metres. Three discrete ultramafic units were logged, at 94.7
to 96.1 metres, 189.46 to 194.58 metres and 220.4 to 225.95 metres, the thickest being 5.55 metres.
Thin ultramafic slivers were logged within the granodiorite gneiss at various depths to 260.19
metres. Sulphides were sparse throughout, mostly 1 to 3 per cent disseminated and interstitial pyrite, with
trace chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and pentlandite logged over 21.30 to 22.30 metres and again over
28.17 to 29.00 metres. Possible sphalerite was logged at 133.35 to 134.00 and 137.31 to 138.31
metres, and interstitial magnetite through the mafic unit from 63 to 94.7 metres.
The 21.30- to 24.30-metre zone carries the program's best gold (0.276 g/t over 1.00 metre at 22.30
metres), its best copper (243 ppm over 1.00 metre at 21.30 metres) and its highest sulphur (2.86 per cent
at 23.30 metres). It is the only place in the program where a coherent gold-copper-sulphur
association was observed.
The ultramafic units returned no nickel or cobalt tenor. Nickel across the program peaked at 28.3
ppm and cobalt at 4.6 ppm. On the evidence of these three holes, the ultramafic rocks at the collar
locations tested do not carry the sulphide nickel signature of the historic Rottenstone nickel-copper-platinum-group-element
deposit to the south.
RN26-002 intersected granodiorite gneiss with intercalated pelitic and psammopelitic gneiss and a
thin gabbroic unit between 138.59 and 140.80 metres. Smoky-grey and white quartz veining with
1 to 3 per cent pyrite was logged at several depths, most notably 73 to 78 metres, 110.00 to 110.85 metres
and 163.83 to 164.00 metres. These vein sets are the closest textural analogue in the program to
the quartz-hosted style reported elsewhere in the district, but they returned no gold above 0.024 g/t.
RN26-003 was terminated at 86 metres in granodiorite and tonalite with intercalated psammopelitic
gneiss. Sulphides were limited to trace interstitial pyrite.
Interpretation and next steps
The program tested three widely separated targets across a large land position, with collar
separations of 2.2, 6.1 and 8.0 kilometres. The results demonstrate that the specific structures tested
are not mineralized at the depths intersected, but they do not close off the project.
The company's technical team considers the following the material take-aways:
- The targeting basis requires revalidation. The holes were sited on regional geophysics,
interpreted structural corridors and advanced atomic mineral resonance tomography
satellite anomalies. None of the three holes intersected mineralization at the
anomaly positions. The satellite-derived targeting will be tested against the drill results
before it is used to site further holes.
- The quartz vein sets in RN26-002 warrant follow-up. Smoky-grey quartz veining with
pyrite is present but was intersected at low volume and, on the logs, at high angles to core
axis. Structural orientation data sufficient to determine vein attitude were not collected.
Oriented core is recommended for any follow-up.
- The RN26-001 sulphide interval at 21 to 24 metres is the only coherent geochemical
anomaly in the program. It is near surface and weak, and one metre of 0.276 g/t gold is not
by itself material. Whether it represents the distal edge of a system or a barren sulphide
occurrence cannot be resolved from one hole.
- Ground follow-up should precede any further drilling. Prospecting, soil geochemistry
and ground geophysics over the eastern boundary trend would materially reduce the cost
per target relative to helicopter-supported drilling.
The company is reviewing the program results, will complete a structural relog of the 2026 core
and will provide an update on its 2027 exploration plans in due course. The company has no current
commitment to a follow-up drill program at Rottenstone North.
Management cautions that past results or discoveries on properties in proximity to Inspiration may
not necessarily be indicative of the presence of mineralization on the company's properties.
Quality assurance and quality control
Core was logged, photographed and sampled at the company's field facility. Sample intervals were
selected on lithology and sulphide content, and range from 0.40 to 1.06 metres. Core was cut in
half, with one-half submitted for analysis and one-half retained.
Samples were submitted to PMC Labs of Maple Ridge, B.C., under job
PJ54-Jun2026-05. Multielement analysis was by aqua regia digestion with ICP finish. Gold was
determined by photon assay with a detection limit of 0.015 gram per tonne. Every 10th sample was also
submitted to a second, independent laboratory for a full multielement suite, including gold by fire
assay. The highest gold returned by the check assays was 0.026 g/t. Where both laboratories
quantified gold, the check result was consistently the lower of the two, and the company has raised
this with both laboratories. The two data sets agree that the program returned background gold.
Eleven quality control samples were included among 105 submissions, a rate of 10.5 per cent. These
comprised four certified reference materials (CDN-ME-2205 and CDN-CM-44), four blanks
(CDN-BL10-T) and three field duplicates. Ten laboratory pulp duplicates and five laboratory-inserted certified reference materials were also reported.
Field and laboratory duplicates performed acceptably at the concentrations encountered. Several
exceptions are noted on the control samples. One blank returned 154 ppm zinc against a certified
47 ppm. The remaining three blanks returned zinc between 36.0 and 37.7 ppm, below the certified
window, consistent with partial zinc extraction under aqua regia. One CDN-ME-2205 insert
returned copper and lead above the certified tolerance, and the second returned silver marginally
below it. Both CDN-CM-44 inserts returned copper above the upper reporting limit of the ICP
method, and neither returned a gold value, so gold accuracy is unassessed on those two inserts. The company has requested overlimit reassays and a laboratory review of the affected batch. Given
that every core sample in the program returned background values, these exceptions do not affect
the results reported above.
