JURA ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF DRILLING IN MARU LEASE

Drilling by Jura Energy Corp. of the Maru-3 development well has commenced in the Maru lease in the Guddu block. The projected measured depth of the well is approximately 942 metres and will target the Pirkoh limestone formation of Eocene age.

The Maru lease covers an area of approximately 15.41 square kilometres and is situated across the Rahim Yar Khan district of Punjab province and the Ghotki district of Sindh province, Pakistan.

Jura holds a 10.66-per-cent working interest in the Maru lease, which is operated by Oil and Gas Development Company Ltd.
