CALGARY, ALBERTA, September 28, 2026 - TheNewswire – Kairos Gold Inc. (“ Kairos Gold ” or the “ Company ”) (TSXV: KIRO) has completed its Phase Three drilling program and will advance to Phase Four, an approximately 3,200-metre expansion program at Oro Brillante located within the Company’s 100%-owned Las Garillas property in the Coquimbo Region of north-central Chile.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Phase Three drilling at Oro Brillante was completed with 11 drill holes;
- Phase Four drilling at Oro Brillante to commence shortly;
- New field operations base established to support exploration activities across the district;
- Planning underway for the inaugural drilling program at the Carmona property.
ORO BRILLANTE PHASE THREE PROGRAM
On June 15 th , 2026, the Company commenced a 10-hole, approximately 3,100-metre drilling program at Oro Brillante, primarily focused on infill drilling to delineate the known mineralized system and support a future resource evaluation. Based on geological observations during drilling, Kairos elected to add an eleventh drill hole to the Phase Three program. Hole OB-26-11 was designed to complete the infill drilling between existing holes on Platform IV and provide further information on the system’s continuity and geometry.
Phase Three drilling was completed on September 26, 2026, and the equipment was demobilized. A restoration team has begun post-drilling activities including reclamation of areas affected by a significant weather event experienced in August. Core logging, cutting, and sampling remain ongoing as the Company integrates information from the Phase Three program with results from earlier drilling campaigns.
The Company’s existing exploration permit authorizes up to 21 drill holes, providing flexibility to expand the drilling program if warranted. Following completion of Phase Three, management is pleased to announce that it will proceed with a Phase Four drilling program, which is expected to commence within approximately 20 days.
ORO BRILLANTE PHASE FOUR PROGRAM
Based on positive core observations from the Phase Three program that indicate open mineralized zones, Kairos is currently preparing for the Phase Four drill program. This program will be focused on expansion drill holes designed to extend known zones and discover new ones. The 10-hole program totalling approximately 3,200 metres is intended to supply information that will be used to support an improved three-dimensional geological model for future targeting and resource calculations. Kairos’ technical team continues to refine the Phase Four drilling program to achieve those objectives.
Michelle DeCecco, CEO & Director of Kairos Gold, commented:
“Phase Four shifts our focus from infill - to expansion. Every single metre that we drill will be important. Upon completion of Phase Four, we expect to have drilled a total of 31 holes and more than 9,500 metres, which will provide us with invaluable geological information to support a future resource estimate.”
“We raised capital to advance exploration, and that is what we are doing. Our strategy is to maintain momentum through back-to-back, disciplined drilling programs. This approach allows our team to incorporate the latest geological observations into our model and systematically advance our projects by expanding known mineralized zones and identifying new ones.”
TECHNICAL REPORTING
The Company continues to await complete assay results for Holes 1 and 2. The laboratory advised that 36 samples returned copper values above 0.5% and require additional analysis using a different analytical method, extending the expected completion timeline.
On September 25, 2026, approximately 330 samples from Holes 3, 4 and 5 were dispatched to Santiago for analysis. Core logging, cutting and sampling are continuing for Holes 6 through 11, with samples expected to be submitted in batches representing two to three holes. Once received, the assay results will be reviewed and interpreted alongside geological information from Phase Three and earlier drilling campaigns. The Company will report assay results as they become available.

NEW FIELD STATION “ESTACIÓN LA HIGUERA”
Kairos has entered into a land-use agreement in the La Higuera de Rapel area and established a field operations base to facilitate exploration activities across the district. The centralized facility will be used for core processing, equipment storage, communications and logistical coordination in support of the Company’s growing exploration programs.
UPCOMING CARMONA DRILLING
Management is actively advancing a drilling program on its Carmona property, located just 7 km from Las Garillas. The maiden drilling program on this attractive opportunity is expected to commence following Phase Four at Oro Brillante. Kairos will provide further updates on its broader Chilean exploration portfolio in subsequent news releases.
