KONTROL TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER 2026 FINANCIAL RESULTS

Kontrol Technologies Corp. has released its results for the three months ended and year to date ended June 30, 2026. A complete set of the financial statements and management discussion and analysis has been filed on SEDAR.

Q2 2026 and year-to-date highlights:

• Revenues for the three months ended June 30, 2026, were $1.8-million, compared with $1.3-million for the same quarter in the prior year. Revenues for the six months ended June 30, 2026, were $3.1-million, compared with $2.8-million for the same period in the prior year.
• Gross margin for the six months ended June 30, 2026, was 50 per cent, compared with 56 per cent for the same period in the prior year.
• Net income for the three months ended June 30, 2026, was $125,348, compared with $230,592 for the same quarter in the prior year. Net loss for the six months ended June 30, 2026, was $307,270, compared with $915,240 for the same period in the prior year. These figures include unrealized income on revaluation of marketable securities.
• Adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) for the six months ended June 30, 2026, was negative $291,244, compared with negative $597,553 for the same period in the prior year.
• As at June 30, 2026, the company's aggregate cash and marketable securities balance was $7.3-million.
• As at June 30, 2026, the company had no outstanding interest-bearing bank debt.
