The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Manulife Balanced ETF Portfolio will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on April 27, 2026, for trading at the open on April 28, 2026. According to the TSX, there will be 150,000 common units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol MBAP, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 56503B 10 9.
The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to provide a combination of long-term
capital appreciation with a secondary focus on income
generation. It invests in underlying exchange-traded funds and derivatives that provide exposure to global
equity and fixed income securities. According to the TSX, the ETF expects to pay cash distributions on its units, if any, on a quarterly basis.
The ETF's manager and trustee is Manulife Investment Management Ltd., its transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal office in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Dec. 31. As stated in its prospectus dated March 13, 2026, the ETF is issuing 150,000 units at $10 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on April 28, 2026. The designated market-maker is National Bank Financial Inc.
