AMEGO CAPITAL CORP. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF JAMES ROSS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Amego Capital Corp. has appointed James Ross as director of the company.

Mr. Ross is a senior finance professional and entrepreneur, focusing primarily on environmental, renewable energy and technology companies. He has a proven record in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Mr. Ross has an MBA from York University and BEnv from the University of Waterloo.

Mr. Ross has been a director and chief financial officer of both public and private companies in the telecommunications, power, IT (information technology) and recycling industries. His past executive positions include president and co-founder of Northstone Power, and vice-president, finance, of Westlock -- Algonquin Power. Mr. Ross was also CFO of Daxxes Corp., an IT firm with primary operations in India, Beijing and the United States, employing 500 people. His public company experience includes CFO of Vanadium Corp. and CFO of Rainmaker Worldwide Inc.

Mr. Ross is also a partner in Sage Stone Ventures Inc., whose principals have developed, financed and transacted on over $5-billion in renewable energy and power projects. Sage Stone has also acted as adviser for several large energy companies in acquisitions and divestitures, project finance and strategy.

He is also president of JSR Capital Inc., a venture and seed capital firm focusing on environmental and technology investments. Mr. Ross also assists in arranging corporate finance and works with management to create shareholder value through internal operations optimization, corporate governance enhancement, international joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Mr. Ross is a shareholder of Amego through his companies.

The company also announces the resignation of Andy Edelmeier as CFO and as a director of the company, effective immediately, to purse other opportunities. Amego would like to thank Mr. Edelmeier for his service and wishes him continued success in his future endeavours.

Kirk Exner, chief executive officer and a director of Amego, has been appointed as CFO of the company.
