CAMEO ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Cameo Resources Inc. is undertaking a non-brokered private placement of up to $2-million by the issue of units at 15 cents. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable at 30 cents for a period of two years, subject to the company's right to accelerate expiration on 30 days notice in the event that its shares trade at 45 cents for a period of 10 trading days, including days where no trading occurs. Net proceeds will be used for immediate drilling, further exploration, marketing and general working capital on its Katoro gold property in Tanzania.
