Maple Leaf Green World Inc. Announces Revocation of Cease Trade Order

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MAPLE LEAF GREEN WORLD INC.

CSE: MGW | OTC: MGWFF

Calgary, Alberta August 26, 2026 Maple Leaf Green World Inc. (CSE: MGW | OTC: MGWFF) (the "Company" or "Maple Leaf") is pleased to announce that the Alberta Securities Commission (the "ASC"), as principal regulator, has issued an order dated August 26, 2026 (the "Revocation Order") revoking the failure-to-file cease trade order issued against the Company on May 6, 2025 (the "FFCTO").

Revocation of the Cease Trade Order

The Revocation Order (Re Maple Leaf Green World Inc., 2026 ABASC 111) was issued by the ASC as principal regulator following the Company's application under National Policy 11-207 Failure-to-File Cease Trade Orders and Revocations in Multiple Jurisdictions ("NP 11-207"). The FFCTO had been issued by the Executive Director of the ASC on May 6, 2025 as a result of the Company's failure to file required continuous disclosure documents.

The Revocation Order is based on the Company's representations that it is a reporting issuer under the Securities Act (Alberta); that it has filed with the Executive Director all continuous disclosure that it is required to file under Alberta securities laws, except any continuous disclosure that the Executive Director elected not to require as contemplated in sections 25 and 26 of NP 11-207, and has paid all activity, participation and late filing fees that it is required to pay to the ASC; and that it has an up-to-date filer profile on SEDAR+ and issuer profile supplement on SEDI.

Reinstatement of Trading on the CSE

The Company is proceeding immediately with an application to the Canadian Securities Exchange (the "CSE") for the reinstatement of trading in its common shares. Trading in the Company's common shares will remain halted until the CSE has completed its review and approved the reinstatement. Reinstatement of trading is subject to the satisfaction of all applicable CSE requirements and the discretion of the CSE, and there can be no assurance as to when, or whether, trading in the Company's common shares will resume.

Continuous Disclosure Remediation

The revocation follows the completion of the Company's continuous disclosure remediation undertaken in connection with the continuous disclosure review conducted by Staff of the ASC. In the course of that remediation, the Company filed on SEDAR+, among other documents:

dot Amended and restated interim financial statements for the three months ended March 31, 2026, incorporating a comprehensive subsequent events note in accordance with IAS 10 Events after the Reporting Period;

dot Amended and restated Management's Discussion and Analysis for the three months ended March 31, 2026, including the education and experience of each Audit Committee member;

dot Form 52-110F2 Audit Committee Information (Amended), reflecting the reconstituted Audit Committee;

dot Amended CEO and CFO certifications on Form 52-109F2R in respect of the refiled interim filings;

dot A news release and material change report with respect to the board and management changes and the reconstitution of the Audit Committee; and Maple Leaf Green World Inc. Announces Revocation of Cease Trade Order

dot The AGM undertaking provided to the ASC, filed publicly in accordance with section 28 of NP 11-207.

Q2 2026 Interim Filings

The Company confirms that its unaudited condensed consolidated interim financial statements and related Management's Discussion and Analysis for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026, together with the certifications required under National Instrument 52-109 Certification of Disclosure in Issuers' Annual and Interim Filings, will be filed on SEDAR+ on or before the prescribed filing deadline of August 29, 2026.

Annual General Meeting

Consistent with the undertaking previously provided to the ASC and filed on SEDAR+, the Company will convene and hold an Annual General Meeting of shareholders (the "AGM") within 90 days following the revocation of the FFCTO, being on or before November 24, 2026. At the AGM, shareholders will be asked to elect the directors of the Company, including Mr. Pat Gramlich, who was appointed by the Board on August 24, 2026 to hold office until the close of the next AGM. Particulars of the AGM, including the record date, meeting date and meeting materials, will be announced in due course.

Management wishes to thank the Company's shareholders for their patience during the continuous disclosure review, and acknowledges the assistance of Staff of the ASC throughout the remediation process.
