MONUMENTAL MINERALS CORP. WELCOMES UPDATE FROM CHILEAN GOVERNMENT

Monumental Minerals Corp. applauds the recent statements from Chile's President, Gabriel Boric, in respect to its goal of advancing its lithium industry through a public/private initiative.

Monumental Minerals is at the forefront of supporting local Chilean communities and adding to the Chilean economy. The company is grateful to be aligned to Chile and the boosting of the domestic economy via the development of the lithium industry, which will be positive for the company, its Chilean employees and contractors, as well as its stakeholders.

Additionally, the management team of Monumental unanimously welcomes the news that the government of Chile plans to not terminate current contracts and the company views this statement as having a positive impact on the industry. Management of the company continues to periodically purchase shares of the company, including today in support of this news.

Dr. Jamil Sader, chief executive officer, comments: "Although we haven't seen the full details, I am delighted we now have a route map established for public/private partnerships. Everyone will have skin in the game so there will be a stronger push to get projects in Chile over the line.
