BLUE MOON ANNOUNCES 2023 SHAREHOLDER MEETING RESULTS

Blue Moon Metals Inc. has released the results of its annual general meeting of shareholders held on Aug. 1, 2023. All the motions presented to the shareholders were approved.

Votes representing 16,033,429 shares were cast, representing 60.72 per cent of the issued and outstanding shares at the record date. A summary of the meeting results is outlined in the attached table.

The company's shareholders have also approved the company's 2023 stock option plan. The plan is a rolling stock option plan, which governs the granting of stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the company or a subsidiary of the company for the purchase of up to 10 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares in the capital of the company from time to time. Any stock options currently outstanding under the superseded stock option plan will remain outstanding as at the effective date; however, new stock option grants will be subject to the plan. The plan is subject to final approval by the TSX Venture Exchange. Further details regarding the plan are included in the management information circular of the company filed on SEDAR in connection with the meeting.

The company is evaluating several proposals for the preparation of an updated mineral resource report for the Blue Moon polymetallic project and other work related to the project now that the company has a stronger cash position as a result of recent financings. The company is also reviewing new opportunities.
