The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, June 28, edition that Eight Capital analysts Adhir Kadve and Christian Sgro see momentum building at enterprise software companies employing generative artificial intelligence. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that the analysts call it a "secular growth theme" that "will dominate the technology narrative for the foreseeable future." To gain exposure to the trend the Eight Capital analysts recommend MediaValet, which they rate "buy," with a $2.50 share target. Analysts on average target the shares at $1.93. The analysts say in a note: "MediaValet has been working with Microsoft's AI engines for about five years, developing their own cognitive metadata framework for digital asset management (DAM). This includes integrating to run assets through AI engines/tools, pull back AI-generated metadata, ingest the metadata and associate it with the asset, and then make it searchable. MediaValet offers a full spectrum of AI capabilities for customers, including optical character recognition (converting typed, handwritten, or printed text into machine-encoded text), FACE recognition (launching now), among others."
