The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Sept. 17, edition that Canaccord Genuity analyst Steve Searles commenced coverage on Nevada King Gold with a "speculative buy" recommendation and a $2.75 share target. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $2.50. Mr. Searles says in a note: "Nevada King is a gold exploration company advancing its 100-per-cent-owned Atlanta Gold mine project in Lincoln County, Nevada. ... The company has drilled over 140,000m since taking ownership of the property in 2021 and has more than doubled the size of the M&I resource from its historical (2020) estimate. We believe Nevada King offers investors exposure to a high-grade oxide gold system in one of the world's most established mining jurisdictions, supported by existing infrastructure, an experienced leadership and exploration team, and strategic backing from Centerra Gold. While the current resource provides a foundation for future development, we believe there is greater potential for continued resource growth and new discoveries across the company's largely underexplored 130km² property. On our numbers, the company is fully funded for the remainder of the year."
