NEVADA ORGANIC PHOSPHATE REPORTS PRELIMINARY GEOLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS FROM DRILL HOLE MM26-7 AT MURDOCK MOUNTAIN
Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. has released encouraging preliminary observations from drill hole MM26-7, recently completed on its wholly owned Murdock Mountain property in Elko county, Nevada.
The company's exploration target is the Upper Phosphatic zone, a 3.4- to 7.6-metre (11 to 25 feet) interval within the Meade Peak member, which itself comprises 28 to 40 metres (92 to 131 feet) of phosphatic siltstone and phosphorite. This stratigraphic framework is based on the work of William Fedewa (MSc, thesis, 1980) from trench observations. Variations in the thickness of the Upper Phosphatic zone encountered during the current drill program will be confirmed through laboratory assays.
Drill hole MM26-7 -- preliminary observations
Drill hole MM26-7, located at 724384E, 4569078N, was drilled vertically to a depth of 152 metres (498.6 feet). The drill collar is positioned approximately 100 metres north and upslope from last fall's drill hole MM25-1, which intersected 38 metres of the target Meade Peak stratigraphy. MM26-7 intersected an apparent 39 metres (127.9 feet) of the same Meade Peak interval. True thickness and the phosphate content of the Upper Phosphatic zone will be confirmed by assay.
Drill hole MM26-8, now also complete, is located approximately 100 metres north of last fall's drill hole MM25-3. Co-ordinates and preliminary geological observations will be reported once received from the logging team.
The company will release laboratory assay results once received and validated.
Surveying and mapping update
A licensed surveyor has completed the surveying of last fall's drill holes MM25-1 through MM25-6 drill collars. The surveyor will return to survey all additional drill holes from the 2026 program once drilling is complete.
A new map will be included in a future news release to provide updated collar co-ordinate surveys from the 2025 drill program, and locations of 2026 drill holes as they are completed.
Qualified persons
The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Garry K. Smith, PGeo, a director of Nevada Organic and a qualified person as defined under National Instrument 43-101 -- Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.
When available, all assays and detailed core logging interpretation will be provided by the independent qualified person for this drill program, Kenneth N. Tullar, AIPG, certified professional geologist (CPG 11142). Mr. Tullar will review and approve the technical content of those disclosures.
About Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc.
Nevada Organic is a junior exploration company with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed, 6.6 kilometres long, in northeast Nevada. Additional applications extend the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometres. This is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. It is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nev., and near the rail head to California or the East Coast.
