The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, Sept. 17, edition that Stifel analyst Justin Keywood is holding firm on to his "strong buy" call for Neupath Health. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Keywood gave his share target a 10-cent trim to 58 cents. Analysts on average target the shares at 77 cents. Mr. Keywood says in a note: "Neupath is Canada's largest network of chronic pain treatment clinics with two additional minority clinic stakes. There is a large backlog of patients and up to 24-month wait list for Neupath services but a doctor supply challenge with a niche specialization and two-year fellowship program requirement. The resulting mismatch with supply/demand limits Neupath organic growth/margin expansion to a certain extent but also suggests an opportunity, including sale to a larger healthcare services platform, competitor or private equity. Our Neupath thesis has been predicated on a take-out scenario since 2025 and although it has not materialized, the stock has outperformed (up 168 per cent vs. TSXV Composite, up 51 per cent) on better clinic economics, but plateaued recently. We believe Neupath's take-out prospects remain at 0.3 times sales/4.8 times EBITDA."
