Mr. Scott Ansell reports
NORTH SKY METALS COMMENCES TRADING ON THE TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE UNDER SYMBOL "NSKY"
North Sky Metals Corp.'s common shares have commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol NSKY.
North Sky's listing follows several years of systematic exploration and technical work across its Canadian copper and gold portfolio. The company's flagship Natlan project in west-central British Columbia hosts two large copper-molybdenum-gold-silver porphyry targets and a gold target to the west while the Jet copper project in Nunavut provides additional exposure to a prospective copper opportunity near tidewater in the Kitikmeot region.
"Listing on the TSX Venture Exchange marks an important milestone for North Sky and a new phase for the company," said Scott Ansell, president and chief executive officer of North Sky Metals. "Our team has spent several years in the field systematically advancing these projects and building the technical foundation behind our priority targets. We are moving forward with a clear exploration strategy, multiple opportunities across two Canadian jurisdictions, and an experienced team focused on disciplined exploration and discovery. We look forward to providing further project updates over the coming weeks."
North Sky highlights:
- Flagship Natlan copper-gold project in British Columbia:
- Covering approximately 100 square kilometres and located 20 kilometres northeast of New Hazelton, Natlan hosts three principal target areas -- Ace, East and West;
- Located approximately 23 kilometres from the provincial power grid and 18 kilometres from the CN rail line;
- Multiple exploration targets identified:
- Ace: a 1.75-kilometre-long copper-molybdenum-gold-silver porphyry target with coincident geochemical, strong geophysical and alteration signatures;
- East: a 2.5-kilometre-long copper-molybdenum-gold-silver trend;
- West: a distinct gold exploration target;
- Multiyear field-based exploration:
- North Sky's technical team has completed successive field programs at Natlan incorporating mapping, sampling and geophysics to progressively refine and prioritize exploration targets;
- More than 3,500 soil samples and 800 rock samples collected across Natlan were complemented by airborne magnetic and ground induced polarization surveys;
- Exploration permits in place for long-term exploration flexibility:
- North Sky holds multiyear permits covering the Natlan project, with permits in place through 2030 and 2031;
- The permits provide flexibility to advance exploration across the Ace, West and East target areas;
- Jet provides second Canadian copper opportunity:
- The approximately 110-square-kilometre Jet copper project in Nunavut provides a second significant exploration opportunity within North Sky's Canadian portfolio;
- North Sky's experienced team:
- Management and board experience spans mineral exploration, project development, feasibility studies, permitting, mining finance and capital markets.
