Kamloops, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - September 21, 2026) - North Valley Resources Ltd. (CSE: NVR) ("North Valley" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the approved expansion of its Comstock Copper-Gold Project in southern British Columbia through the staking of an additional 4,857 hectares (48.57 km2), bringing the Company's total land position to approximately 9,319 hectares (93.19 km2) (see December 3, 2025 news release) (Figure 1). The newly acquired claims strategically expand the Comstock land package to encompass prospective zones that share geological and geophysical characteristics with other mineralized areas on the Company's existing land position, further consolidating North Valley's position in a district-scale exploration opportunity within the Quesnel Terrane.
Cameron Dorsey, CEO of North Valley Resources, comments: "The expansion of Comstock represents an important step in our strategy to consolidate what we believe is a highly prospective copper-gold district in southern British Columbia. By staking an additional 4,918 hectares and doubling the size of the project, we have secured prospective structures and areas of interest that extend beyond our existing targets. This expanded land position provides North Valley with greater flexibility to evaluate the broader geological system and identify additional exploration opportunities. We look forward to advancing the expanded land package through systematic exploration."
Historical Copper-Gold Results
The Comstock Project hosts multiple copper-gold showings. Historical exploration identified significant mineralization at the Original-Diane, Victoria, South, Lowell, Charmer, Island and Comstock zones. Historical surface sampling returned high-grade values, including up to 27.19% copper ("Cu") (Sample Jer-1098; Assessment Report 12799) at the Original-Diane Zone and 56.71 grams per tonne ("g/t") gold ("Au") (Sample R2-Victoria; Assessment Report 17721) at the Victoria Zone. Other notable results include trench results of 1.06 g/t Au and 0.31% Cu over 3.38 metres ("m") at the Lowell Zone and 0.2% Cu over 7.0 m at the South Zone (Assessment Report 16058A) (Table 1 for sample locations).
Historical drilling in 1988 at Original-Diane was limited to approximately 570 m across nine shallow holes, with only 22% of the historical core assayed. Notable intersections included 0.38% Cu and 0.72 g/t Au over 13.99 m (STR-88-2), 0.53% Cu and 0.36 g/t Au over 12.80 m (STR-88-4), and 0.20% Cu and 2.65 g/t Au over 8.69 m, including 24.7 g/t Au over 0.76 m (STR-88-1) (Table 2 and 3). Importantly, these drill results are interpreted to have tested the northern margins of a shallow, >400 m long chargeability anomaly. North Valley believes these historical results, together with recently identified geophysical anomalies, warrant systematic testing of the broader copper-gold system.
Historical results have not been independently verified by North Valley Resources and should not be relied upon as necessarily indicative of mineralization on the property. True widths of historical drill intersections are unknown.

The corridor highlights the broader geological and structural trend connecting multiple historical showings across the expanded land package.
