PERK LABS ANNOUNCES CFO TRANSITION

Perk Labs Inc. will appoint Andrew Bailes, a seasoned finance executive, to succeed Vanessa Altamirano as interim chief financial officer on Feb. 17, 2023, until a permanent CFO is named. Ms. Altamirano will step down effective Feb. 17, 2023, to pursue another professional opportunity. Perk is currently in the process of structuring a merger with Getit Technologies Inc.; as part of the process, the company continues to review its team to optimize the integration of the two companies.

His wealth of knowledge, insights and experience will be a valuable asset as we work to optimize the integration of the two companies and pave the way for future growth," said Jonathan Hoyles, Perk chief executive officer.

Mr. Bailes is a chartered public accountant, principal at Hertford Advisors and has served in CFO roles since 2006. He has extensive experience in IT (information technology), telecoms, logistics, manufacturing and other sectors, managing finance and legal, HR (human resources) and operational functions. Mr. Bailes did his undergraduate degree in mathematics and management studies at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and was top in his executive MBA at Cornell and Queens. His notable achievements include:

• CFO for various capital raises totalling over $100-million;
• Negotiation of many multimillion-dollar debt facilities;
• Head of a 25-man finance department at one of Ottawa's largest production facilities;
• 25 years of experience in business and strategic planning.
