The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, July 3, edition that c, citing "incremental optimism" in wireless and believing Rogers Communications' sport assets "provide upside," moved his share target to $57 from $55. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Casey continues to rate Rogers shares "outperform." Analysts on average target the Class B shares at $50.54. Mr. Casey says in a note: "The wireless pricing environment appears to be improving (becoming less negative) with operators raising prices in April and largely maintaining those levels through the quarter. Modest cable revenue growth should return for the balance of 2025E. The $7-billion structured equity transaction was completed and the MLSE transaction is expected to be finalized soon. Rogers's sports assets provide significant upside potential. We made modest increases to our forecasts with a marginal decrease in wireless effectively offset by cable and media." The Globe reported on June 10 that Canaccord had reaffirmed its "buy" call on Rogers, which could then be had for $37.25. The Globe reported on June 25 that TD Cowen analyst Vince Valentini continues to rate Rogers "buy." The shares could then be had for $39.84.
