STORAGE & RV RESORT EXPERT CATHY BUTLER JOINS PATHFINDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Cathy Butler has joined Pathfinder Ventures Inc.'s board of directors, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.

Ms. Butler is co-founder of Black Sheep Ventures, which owns and operates four self-storage facilities and two recreational vehicle (RV) resorts throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Ms. Butler has acquired land, developed and operated storage and RV facilities in her career, including a $34-million storage portfolio that was sold to Real Storage (now Storage Vault), a nine-acre greenfield storage development that was sold to Storage Vault, a five-acre greenfield development that was sold to Real Storage (now Storage Vault) and a storage site in Alberta that she sold to StorageMart.

Ms. Butler is also the co-founder of Beltline Brownstones Inc., which owns and operates multifamily properties. Earlier in her career Ms. Butler co-founded Natural Borders Reforestation, which grew to merge with New Forest Contractors, later acquired by Fairfax Financial. Ms. Butler has been registered as an Alberta Securities Commission portfolio manager and has held private equity research analyst and business development positions with The Blackstone Group, Avenir Capital and Wilmington Capital.
