TALAMORE ANNOUNCES RECEIPT OF THE PRIMARY RESOURCE ROAD PERMIT, ALLOWING COMPLETION OF THE NORTHERN ACCESS ROUTE

Talamore Mining Corp. has received a primary permit under the Yukon Resource Road Regulations, the remaining major permit to allow completion of the Northern Access Route (NAR) for the Coffee gold project. The NAR consists of approximately 214 kilometres of all-season road that, when completed, will connect the Coffee project to Dawson City and the Yukon highway network. Approximately 180 km of the NAR already exists as a combination of Yukon public highway segments and privately constructed, publicly accessible roads through the numerous placer mining operations south of Dawson. Work to upgrade these existing sections of road, and realign a further five km of existing road, has been continuing since June under previously granted work within the right-of-way (WROW) permits. The primary permit will allow the company's contractor to complete approximately 29 km of new road segments that will connect the existing road segments to provide access to the Coffee project.

Cobalt Construction Inc., the Yukon-based firm leading the NAR construction, has partnered with the Tr'ondek Hwech'in First Nation on the NAR project and is carrying out the road works under the supervision of G Mining Services. Other components of the preconstruction early works program at the project are being carried out by Nankak Pelly Construction (Tr'ondek Hwech'in partnership) in commercial collaboration with Selkirk Development Corp., Copper Niisuu LP (White River First Nation) and Na-Cho Nyak Dun Development Corp.

Tim Warman, chief executive officer of Talamore, commented: "Securing this final critical infrastructure permit represents a pivotal milestone for the Coffee project, allowing for the delivery of materials and equipment required for construction and satisfying a key regulatory requirement as we advance toward full construction of the Yukon's next gold mine. Backed by our recently announced $638-million project financing package, alongside ongoing early works including installation of the construction camp and new airstrip, our focus now turns to finalizing the feasibility study and securing the two remaining primary mine licences: the quartz mining licence (QML) and the Type A water licence (WUL). Both applications are substantially advanced, having undergone rigorous regulatory review with extensive first nations participation since November, 2023. The public comment phase for the WUL is scheduled to close on Sept. 15, 2026, after which a public hearing will be schedulled. The QML is concluding the detailed information request stage, after which the Yukon government is expected to prepare a draft QML for review. We anticipate receiving both authorizations ahead of our schedulled final investment decision planned for first quarter of 2027."

Other early works and engineering update

To position the project for a construction decision in early 2027, the company has initiated an early works program aimed at improving access to site and providing accommodation for construction workers. These are critical path items which will position the company to commence mine construction, pending receipt of remaining permits.

As road access is established, materials and equipment are being transported to site via air or by barge on the Yukon River. The company is well advanced with work on a new and longer airstrip, which will complement the existing airstrip and accommodate larger aircraft. The new airstrip is expected to be operational before year-end.

River barging is under way for the summer season with initial barge deliveries having commenced in June. The company has been transporting a variety of equipment and materials to site via barge this summer, including components of the construction camp. Several components have already been delivered, with the remainder currently in transit. Once the new camp is fully assembled, there will be accommodation for approximately 300 people at Coffee, which represents sufficient capacity for the full construction workforce.

Feasibility study update

The results of the feasibility study (FS), currently under way by G Mining Services, are expected to be announced in Q1 of 2027. To support the FS, the company's exploration team completed 20,000 metres of infill drilling on the high-grade Supremo extension target with the goal of converting a meaningful component of the inferred resource to the higher-confidence measured and indicated categories, so that it can be included in the FS reserve statement.
