TRUE NORTH GEMS INC. ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE TO TGX ENERGY & RESOURCES INC.

Further to the company's news release dated July 19, 2024, True North Gems Inc. has changed its name to TGX Energy & Resources Inc. The board of directors of the company approved the name change on Aug. 13, 2024, in accordance with the articles of the company.

The name change is expected to be effective at the start of trading on Aug. 16, 2024, and the company's shares are expected to continue to trade under the current symbol TGX. The proposed name change is subject to final acceptance from the TSX Venture Exchange.

In addition, the board has determined it is in the best interests of the company to not proceed with the previously announced proposed share consolidation on a one-for-three basis. Any further information on a future proposed consolidation will be press released at such time.
