Tiger Gold finishes Tesorito drilling in Colombia

2026-10-07 17:32 ET - News Release

Mr. Robert Vallis reports

TIGER GOLD COMPLETES INFILL AND EXTENSION DRILL PROGRAM AT TESORITO AND ACCELERATES DRILLING AT CEIBAL WITH THREE RIGS

Tiger Gold Corp. has completed drilling at its Tesorito gold deposit, part of the company's 100-per-cent-owned Quinchia gold project in Colombia's prolific Mid-Cauca gold belt. Assay results from 19 holes at Tesorito (3,484 metres) are expected to be reported over the coming weeks alongside results from the Ceibal target, where drilling continues with three rigs.

Highlights:

  • Tesorito phases 1 and 2 drilling complete with 12,124 metres of infill, gap and extension drilling over 48 holes since November, 2025;
  • Results from 28 holes (8,600 metres) reported to date since January, 2026, including:
    • Higher-than-modelled trend interpreted to extend north-northeast:
      • TSDH-88: 234.54 m at 1.2 grams per tonne Au from two m, including 26.57 m at 2.3 g/t Au and 27.6 m at 1.8 g/t Au;
      • TSDH-87: 180.3 m at 1.0 g/t Au from surface, including 66.5 m at 1.3 g/t Au;
      • TSDH-92: 243.4 m at 0.5 g/t Au from 2 m, including 7.2 m at 2.8 g/t Au and six m at 2.8 g/t Au;
      • TSDH-95: 342 m at 0.5 g/t Au from 92 m, including 9.7 m at 1.7 g/t Au;
      • Additional assays along this interpreted trend are pending.
    • Potential feeder zone intercepted beneath the 2025 mineral resource:
      • TSDH-71 intersected 89.96 m at 0.9 g/t Au from 426 m, including a distinct gold-copper-molybdenum subinterval of 16.9 m at 2.3 g/t Au, 0.25 per cent Cu and 158 ppm (parts per million) Mo, including six m at 4.1 g/t Au and 0.43 per cent Cu;
      • TSDH-80: 305.55 m at 0.5 g/t Au from 516 m, including 15.7 m at 1.1 g/t Au and eight m at 1.3 g/t Au, 0.16 per cent Cu and 131 ppm Mo at depth.
  • Results pending from 19 holes at Tesorito (3,484 metres);
  • Updated Tesorito mineral resource estimate targeted for early Q1 2027;
  • Drilling continues at Ceibal with three rigs that is intended to support a maiden mineral resource estimate targeted for near the end of Q1 2027;
  • Updated PEA (preliminary economic assessment) targeted for near the end of the Q1 2027.

Robert Vallis, president and chief executive officer, commented: "This update highlights Tiger taking another key step towards capturing and delivering value to shareholders, with Tesorito drilling complete and all three rigs now at Ceibal. The Tesorito program continues to give us a much clearer picture of the deposit. Infill holes returned locally higher-than-modelled grades along a trend through the central part of the deposit, and more assays from that trend will be reported shortly Deeper holes intersected mineralization beneath the mineral resource, including a potential feeder zone. We are targeting an updated mineral resource estimate in early 2027 for Tesorito, followed by an updated PEA near the end of the first quarter incorporating Ceibal, Tesorito, and Miraflores."

No new assay results are reported in this news release. All intervals reported above are downhole core lengths and were previously reported in past news release, which present the estimated true widths.

Tesorito drilling is complete, with results pending for 19 holes

Drilling at Tesorito began in November, 2025, under the company's phase 1 program, which allocated 6,000 metres to Tesorito, and continued under the expanded program announced on July 8, 2026, to complete the Tesorito phase 2 program infill, gap, and extension program for a grand total of approximately 12,000 metres planned. Drilling at Tesorito was completed on Sept. 30, 2026, for a total of 12,124 metres over 48 holes, including TSDH-82-AB (28 metres), which was abandoned.

Assay results for 28 holes (8,600 m) have been reported to date. Results for the remaining 19 holes (3,484 metres) are expected to be reported over the coming weeks.

Remaining results will feed the next Tesorito mineral resource estimate

Once all Tesorito results have been received and passed quality control, work will begin on an updated mineral resource estimate for Tesorito, which the company is targeting to report in early 2027. The updated estimate will incorporate all the Tesorito phase 1 and phase 2 drilling results.

Tiger Gold continues drilling at Ceibal with three rigs

With drilling at Tesorito complete, all three of the company's drill rigs are now at Ceibal. The Ceibal program is intended to support a maiden mineral resource estimate that the company is targeting to report near the end of the first quarter of 2027. There is no certainty that a mineral resource estimate will be defined at the Ceibal target.

Updated PEA targeted for near the end of the first quarter of 2027

The company is targeting to complete an updated preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for the Quinchia project that considers the updated Tesorito mineral resource, Miraflores and the anticipated maiden mineral resource for Ceibal. The company is targeting to report the results of the PEA near the end of the first quarter of 2027 before proceeding with preliminary feasibility-level studies.

Previously reported Tesorito results

The drill results summarized in this news release were previously reported in past news releases, available under the company's profile on SEDAR+ and on the company's website.

Those releases present the full assay results, drill hole details, estimated true widths where known and applicable qualifications, including possible near surface supergene enrichment.
