Traction Uranium completes radiometric survey at Aurora

2026-07-02 17:13 ET - News Release

Mr. Jared Suchan reports

TRACTION URANIUM ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF AIRBORNE RADIOMETRIC SURVEY AT THE AURORA URANIUM PROJECT

The airborne radiometric survey at Traction Uranium Corp.'s Aurora uranium project, located in the southeastern Athabasca basin region of Saskatchewan, has been completed and the survey crew has demobilized from the project area. The survey forms part of Traction's 2026 exploration program at Aurora and was designed to collect modern radiometric data over priority areas of the property. The data will be used to assist with evaluating uranium prospectivity and refining areas for follow-up exploration.

Survey data will now undergo standard quality assurance, processing and interpretation. The company expects to provide further updates once the final processed survey products have been received and reviewed.

Jared Suchan, chief executive officer of Traction, said, "With the field portion now complete, our focus shifts to processing and interpreting the data, so we can better understand the project's uranium potential and prioritize the most compelling areas for follow-up work."

Traction holds an option to acquire an 80-per-cent interest in Aurora from Cosa Resources Corp., subject to satisfying certain earn-in requirements (please see the news release dated Feb. 11, 2026). The Aurora project covers approximately 17 kilometres of prospective strike along the southeastern margin of the Athabasca basin.
