THISTLE RESOURCES COMMENCES ITS 3000M DRILL PROGRAM AT ITS MIDDLE RIVER GOLD PROJECT IN THE BATHURST MINING CAMP, NB

Thistle Resources Inc. has initiated their Middle River gold project's 3,000-metre drill program. The drill rig is onsite and set up on its first drill pad. The phase 3 drill program will continue to drill the MRG Upper zone expanding the previous two highly successful drill programs that returned very strong gold intersections (Table 1 to 2). This is the first area along a seven-kilometre mineralized fold system, identified by Abitibi Geophysics' 3-D Orion Vision technology.

Gary Lohman, PGeo, chief operating officer and vice-president, exploration -- director, stated: "This is a much-anticipated drill program aimed at expanding the footprint of the Middle River gold deposit while also testing the depth potential of the system. With the integration of the historic drill information with the Thistle data including extensive geophysics and drilling, we anticipate a successful campaign as we expand on previous results and test new targets outside on the flanks of the known mineralized body."

We look to increase the deposit's footprint towards our 2 Moz goal. We have seven km of identified high-priority mineralized folds on our property target area, identified by Abitibi Geophysics 3D Orion Technology. It also has identified a new untested lower zone at 400 metres below. Our 3-D model will assist in determining an updated NI 43-101 and defining the size and scale of this system.
