CANOPY GROWTH REMINDS SHAREHOLDERS TO VOTE AHEAD OF SEPTEMBER 23 DEADLINE
Canopy Growth Corp. is reminding shareholders to vote ahead of its annual general and special meeting of shareholders scheduled for Friday, Sept. 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET.
To ensure their votes are counted at the meeting, shareholders should submit their vote no later than 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026.
Your vote matters
Strong shareholder participation is important to achieving quorum for the meeting. Nasdaq listing rules require a quorum of 33-1/3rd per cent of outstanding common shares entitled to vote, present or by proxy at the meeting. If quorum is not achieved, the meeting must be adjourned, resulting in additional cost to the company.
Shareholders of record as of July 31, 2026, are eligible to vote and are encouraged to vote in advance, even if they plan to attend the meeting live.
The board of directors of the company recommends shareholders vote "for" items 1 through 6 and "every one year"
on Item 7, as further described in the company's definitive proxy statement dated Aug. 7, 2026.
