Well Health combines units, launches CYDEcore system

Mr. Hamed Shahbazi reports

WELL SUBSIDIARY CYBERWELL LAUNCHES CYDECORE FUSION PLATFORM AND PROVIDES STRATEGIC BUSINESS UPDATE TO ADDRESS ESCALATING CYBERSECURITY THREATS

Well Health Technologies Corp.'s majority-owned subsidiary, Cyberwell, has provided a strategic business update highlighting its unified operating model, proprietary platform capabilities, key certifications and leadership appointments.

An escalating cyber threat landscape

Organizations across every sector face a rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape. The emergence of advanced AI (artificial intelligence) models capable of autonomously identifying and exploiting software vulnerabilities has compressed the timeline from vulnerability discovery to active exploitation from months to hours. Legacy systems, connected operational technology and fragmented IT environments are among the most exposed attack surfaces. The risk is particularly acute in regulated environments -- health care, critical infrastructure, energy, financial services and the public sector -- where sensitive data, operational continuity and public trust are paramount. As cybersecurity shifts from discretionary IT spending to essential operational investment, organizations across these sectors require security partners with deep domain knowledge and integrated capabilities.

Powered by CYDEcore Fusion

Cyberwell's response to this evolving threat environment is anchored by CYDEcore Fusion, the company's proprietary cybersecurity platform. CYDEcore Fusion aggregates data from underlying technologies and unifies insights from security operations, monitoring and governance activities into a context-enriched view, applying artificial-intelligence-driven analytics to identify patterns, surface emerging risks and provide predictive insight. Rather than delivering point-in-time solutions, the platform supports continuing cyber resilience through intelligent automation, clearer reporting, and greater accountability across security, technology and risk functions.

A unified operating model

CYDEcore Fusion is delivered through a unified operating model created by the consolidation of Cycura (penetration testing and offensive security), Seekintoo (security operations) and Proack (governance, risk, compliance and advisory) into a single organization. This consolidation has reduced fragmentation, strengthened accountability and improved cross-functional execution. Clients benefit from integrated advisory, pro-active defence, threat intelligence and compliance support through a unified engagement model.

Cyberwell serves enterprise and public-sector organizations across health care, critical infrastructure, energy, financial services, government and technology -- sectors where cybersecurity is a foundational operational requirement reflected in long-term engagements and recurring service relationships.

Key certifications and milestones

  • SOC2 Type I certification completed, demonstrating adherence to rigorous security, availability and confidentiality standards;
  • Microsoft Security Solutions Partner designation earned, enabling joint go-to-market initiatives across health care, energy and public sector verticals;
  • XSOAR-based managed security platform deployed with multiple enterprise clients live, enabling automated threat detection, response orchestration and continuous monitoring at scale;
  • Diversifying client base with reduced single-client concentration and growing recurring revenue through multiyear managed security engagements.

Jeffrey J. Engle, president and chief executive officer of Cyberwell, commented: "The cybersecurity threat landscape is evolving faster than at any point in history. By consolidating our capabilities into a unified operating model powered by CYDEcore Fusion, we have built a cybersecurity business designed to deliver reliable outcomes and scale sustainably. Our SOC2 certification, Microsoft partnership and growing client base validate the model we are building."

Leadership and governance

Cyberwell is led by Jeffrey J. Engle, president and chief executive officer, a cybersecurity executive with experience building and scaling mission-critical security organizations. The leadership team includes Christen Prasse (vice-president and head of sales, North America), Michelle Lotoski (chief of staff), Joshua Boyd (VP, head of pro-active defence) and Kate Pattison (VP of growth strategy).

Cyberwell's board of directors includes Hamed Shahbazi (founder and CEO, Well Health Technologies), Amir Javidan (CEO, Wellstar) and Jeffrey J. Engle. The company has also established an advisory board featuring Vishal Amin (national security and artificial-intelligence-driven security platforms) and Neil Desai (public policy and global governance) to enhance strategic oversight as the company scales.

Hamed Shahbazi, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Well Health Technologies, commented: "As Canada's largest outpatient healthcare network, Well understands firsthand that cybersecurity is not an IT function -- it is a patient safety imperative. The convergence of AI-driven threats and the increasing digitization of care delivery makes Cyberwell's mission more critical than ever. The Province of Ontario recently identified cybersecurity as a key priority in its landmark EMR modernization initiative, validating the strategic importance of what Cyberwell is building. With CYDEcore Fusion, industry-recognized certifications and a team with deep experience in regulated environments, Cyberwell is positioned to be the trusted cybersecurity partner for organizations across Canada and beyond."
