Windfall Geotek Inc. has appointed Javier Pernas, director of Simplex SRL, as the company's exclusive representative in Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Mr. Pernas brings local market knowledge and experience across the mining and information technology sectors, and provides Windfall Geotek with a single commercial hub covering three of the world's most important mining jurisdictions.

Simplex's director has more than 30 years of experience in B2B (business-to-business) technology sales and business development across Latin America, including senior commercial roles at Gilat Satellite Networks, Nokia and early stage technology companies. Through Simplex, a technology sales agency and management consultancy, he represents international technology manufacturers across the mining, oil and gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors, helping them enter Latin American markets, develop sales channels and manage complex commercial opportunities from initial engagement through closing. Mr. Pernas holds an engineering degree from ITBA (Argentina) and an MBA from IMD (Switzerland).
