WALLBRIDGE TEMPORARILY EVACUATES FENELON CAMP, SUSPENDS EXPLORATION DUE TO QUEBEC FOREST FIRE RISK

Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd. has temporarily evacuated the camp at its 100-per-cent-owned Fenelon gold project and suspended all drilling and related exploration activities on its Detour-Fenelon gold trend property following an evacuation order issued by Sopfeu (Societe de protection des forets contre le feu) and Quebec's Ministere des Ressources naturelles et des Forets due to increasing wildland fire danger in the area.

"The health and safety of our employees and contractors is our highest priority," said Brian Penny, chief executive officer of Wallbridge. "Immediately upon receiving the evacuation order from Sopfeu late afternoon on July 1, we activated our emergency response procedures and safely evacuated all site personnel to Amos, Que. I thank the entire Fenelon project team for their professionalism, discipline and exceptional response in carrying out a safe and orderly evacuation under rapidly evolving circumstances. The company will continue to monitor conditions closely and will resume exploration activities when authorities determine it is safe to do so."
