The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was a cheerful 91-79-140 although the TSX Venture Exchange fell four points to 603. Dr. Stewart Blusson's Archon Minerals Ltd. (ACS), a 31-cent stock when it last traded late in June, wrapped up its annual general meeting late last week. The company's shareholders "passed all resolutions put forth," cheered Dr. Blusson -- which of course was automatic once he cast his majority vote in favour of each. (Dr. Blusson owns or controls 33.68 million shares, according to the company's proxy circular, over 62 per cent of the 53.9 million shares outstanding.)

Still, there have been a few recent changes to disrupt the dust gathering in the corporate offices over the last year.
