The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Monday was a weak 74-118-118 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell fractionally to 566. Bryan Disher and Dr. William Willoughby's Century Lithium Corp. (LCE) said Friday it has received the feasibility study for its Clayton Valley lithium project, and its people are now reviewing the document. And so, says Dr. Willoughby, president and chief executive officer, Century "anticipates its announcement imminently."
In the meantime, he dropped some hints about what to expect. The study includes "revised and updated estimates for a phased production approach" at the project -- in other words it is looking to minimize the upfront capital cost and use cash flow to aid with a subsequent expansion. As well, Dr. Willoughby cheers that the study is contemplating the economic benefits of selling surplus sodium hydroxide to be produced by the plant. The news sent Century's stock up 10 cents to 77 cents on 76,000 shares Friday and another two cents to 79 cents on 67,000 shares today.
