The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Thursday was a mediocre 69-61-160 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell three points to 955. Dr. Stewart Blusson's Archon Minerals Ltd. (ACS), down four cents to 11 cents on 14,000 shares when it last traded on Sept. 9, continues to twiddle its corporate thumbs while it awaits potential royalties from the Buffer kimberlites at the Ekati mine in the Northwest Territories. Normally, Archon's quarterly blurbs are a waste of time, as nearly all the information would be cut and pasted from earlier versions -- frequently without any attempt to alter the dates to make it appear current. This year, however, there have been some meaningful changes.
