The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score was a dreary 48-125-147 on Wednesday as the TSX Venture Exchange fell 13 points to 877. Energy Fuels Inc. (EFR) slid $1.32 to $14.65 on 2.37 million shares today despite an absence of material news since late August. The TSX-listed, Denver-based company touts itself as "poised to provide 10 of the 50 critical minerals the world needs for today's technology and beyond." Posturing aside, Energy Fuels already produces uranium, vanadium and rare earth oxides at its White Mesa operation in Utah.
Is this an armistice in the long-running battle featuring Kirill Klip and his fellow directors at TNR Gold Corp. (TNR) on one side and a dissident group of shareholders led by Jon Christian Evensen and his Eucalyptus Resources Opportunities Fund on the other? TNR leapt four cents to 30 cents on 1.89 million shares Tuesday on word that the two warring factions have agreed to discontinue their spat before the Supreme Court of British Columbia -- the dissidents apparently having agreed to allow TNR's current board a period of time to complete the company's continuing strategic review process.
